Scholarships

The Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation awards $1000 scholarships to deserving graduating seniors each spring. The total number of recipients each year will vary. The amount of available funds for scholarships will be determined by the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation Board of Directors prior to each funding year. The Foundation also awards two Sandifer Scholarships to student athletes. The scholarships are givien in honor of Hugh and Brenda Sandifer. They are for $5,000 each.

Eligibility

Applicant must have attended Wylie Independent School District for his/her entire senior year.
Applicants are eligible regardless of age, sex, race, creed or religious association.
Applicant shall have at least a “B” average.
Scholarship winner must attend an accredited university, two year college or technical school in the fall of their graduating year.
Applicant shall be free of legal entanglements with Wylie ISD.
Applicant shall NOT have received a scholarship which pays all room/board and tuition.

Each year scholarship applications are posted on this website and are available in the Wylie High counseling office beginning in January. Applications are due right after Spring Break. Deadlines vary each year.
