This year’s exciting fundraiser features an amazing silent auction with 50 items, two amazing raffles and a fun virtual event featuring some of the funniest moments in Wylie history.

The auction is now open for browsing with 50 amazing items. Bidding starts Thursday, Sept. 17, at 8 a.m. Auction bidding ends at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 3.

Tune In For Virtual Event

Oct. 3, 7-8 p.m.

We will be hosting an online hour of fun celebrating our Wylie pride on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 7-8 p.m. Anyone who donates at least $25 during that hour will have their name placed in a drawing for a football signed by Hugh Sandifer, Wylie’s longtime coach/athletic director who retired in May.

We have two great raffles. Tickets are $10 each, 3 for $25 or 7 for $50. Links to online tickets are at the bottom of each description below or in the bar on the right side of the page.

Raffle 1: Win a football signed by Hugh Sandifer and an autographed Case Keenum Vikings jersey. Keenum was Vikings quarterback for the Minneapolis Miracle! He also is a Wylie grad and quarterbacked Wylie to the state championship in 2004!

Foundation Thankful For Generous Donors

In this season of giving thanks, the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation is very thankful to all of the generous donors and volunteers for the success of our 4th annual “We Are Wylie” Dinner.

This year’s “Hometown Hootenanny” produced by Wylie graduates, Jason Holloway and Luke McMillan included :

  • An Alumni Band  of over 40 members plus their support staff
  • Professionally edited film clips announcing ‘Luke & Jason’s Hometown Hootenanny’
  • Talented vocalists Kristy Kelton and Kristen Abaquin Smith
  • A humorous skit about Wylie ISD
  • Photographs honoring: Judy Eoff, Louis Thornton, Ray Ann Gloyna, Roy Franklin, Nelda Sellars, Gary Hosch, & Jack Goodrich.

The Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation will work to identify even more ways to help strengthen the Wylie Schools.  We look forward to taking applications for teacher grants and students scholarships in 2014.
